Nathalie Winder
Director

In 2007, Nathalie launched Beetroot after recognising the industry need for a more consultative approach to creative recruitment. Today, as the company celebrates its 10th successful year, she takes enormous pride in what Beetroot has accomplished and the positive contributions the team has made to so many clients and candidates.

Nathalie began her career working in the Production Department of a DM Agency in Leeds. After returning from world travel, she was appointed Contract Manager at Manpower, taking control of one of its major accounts and managing a team of 150 freelancers. Almost three years later, Nathalie’s creative roots called, and she joined a leading Creative Recruitment consultancy working across its freelance and permanent divisions. Within five years, she became a Principal Consultant and was named one of North’s Marketing Elite.

Immigrating to Sydney in 2003, Nathalie joined a global Recruitment firm as Senior Creative Consultant, growing its freelance desk to be the most profitable in Asia Pacific. It was four years later that she established Beetroot and realised her life long passion to run her own business. When not keeping busy with Beetroot, her husband and two gorgeous children keep her on her toes and reaching for the cadbury chocolate or escaping to the cinema.

Di Powe
Principal Consultant

Di’s account service background in leading DM, ad agencies and brand design studios fuelled her love of the creative industry and the talented people within. Armed with an in-depth knowledge of how studios work, Di steered her career into specialist recruitment. After 18 months in a large recruitment company, Di joined Beetroot to offer a more collaborative approach to clients and creatives.

Nine years on, Di’s still here and loving every minute of heading up our red-hot freelance desk. She gets an enormous buzz out of helping the team of brilliantly talented freelancers be more. She excels at managing expectations and matching talent to roles that help save the day in leading Sydney studios. Outside of Beetroot, Di is an avid AFL fan and often attends games locally and enjoys travelling interstate to cheer her team on. When the season ends, her focus shifts to more exotic locations where she can be more foodie and watch the world pass by.

Annette Eagle
Senior Consultant

After graduating with a degree in Applied Social Science, Psychology and Sociology, Annette launched her creative career as an Account Manager at a design agency in London. Before long, the company’s creative recruitment arm called, and she began working as a creative consultant, relishing the opportunity to be more coach and less suit. In 2003, Annette joined a global Recruitment firm, working with them in London before making the move to Sydney.

Annette has worked with us part-time, focusing on in-house creatives and corporate design. As well as getting her coaching fix with us, Annette fills her days with a balanced blend of energetic mum, ocean swimming, running, books and chocolate.

Antonella Caltabiano
Office Manager / Accounts

When she’s not number crunching, you’ll find Antonella ‘being more’ in the best, craziest possible way. Qualified in Accounting and Business Administration, Antonella has 15 years’ experience in Financial and Office Management, Business Admin and HR.

Beetroot taps into Antonella’s creative soul and once she’s finished organising us, she’s out of our door to be more of an amateur photographer, food blogger, interior designer, charity volunteer, runner, reader, and entertainer/mum to twin boys.
